Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Shimoga, State of Karnataka. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Ideally you have physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings; knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding; understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling.
