Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Murshidabad, West Bengal. We are looking for ability to read electrical and wiring schematics; working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards; sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring. Your main tasks: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
