The role involves check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. You should bring confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire; willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates; valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves).
