Sewing machine operator — Sri Sathya Sai

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Sri Sathya Sai, State of Andhra Pradesh. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. ₹180 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
