Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Jagatsinghpur, State of Odisha. You will work at a manufacturing plant. The role involves enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. ₹240 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
