Day to day you will knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. You should bring attention to detail and a clean, even finish; good eye for panel gaps and body lines; 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop.
