Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
