Aluminium tig welder — Amroha

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
