Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Dhamtari, State of Chhattisgarh. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. The role involves remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. We are looking for aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep; a keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
