On the job you will handle: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely You should bring understanding of safe digging near underground services; good depth perception and hand-eye coordination.
