Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Akola, State of Maharashtra. Your main tasks: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Ideally you have willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota; ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate; physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces.
