Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Tarn Taran, State of Punjab. The job is at an industrial plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Day-to-day duties: • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Full-time with occasional weekends.
