Vacancy available: building site helper (Assam)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a building site helper in Darrang, Assam. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. We are looking for able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions; prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites; able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up Full-time with occasional weekends.
