Urgent requirement: container truck driver (Mizoram)

Join our team: we are hiring a container truck driver in Khawzawl, Mizoram. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Your main tasks: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
