Sand plant operator — Amritsar

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Amritsar, State of Punjab. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
