Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ernakulam, State of Kerala. Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred. ₹28,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
