On a typical shift you will read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting. You should bring own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files); steady hand for filler work and block sanding. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
