On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. You should bring steady hand and good hand-eye coordination; 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
