We are recruiting: industrial sewing operator (Meghalaya)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Six days a week, one day off.
