Vacancy available: fire and safety officer (Union Territory of Puducherry)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Karaikal, Union Territory of Puducherry. On the job you will handle: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height We are looking for NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate; sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations; physically fit for full-site inspections on foot.
