Vacancy available: we are hiring a site carpenter in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. You will work at a shopfitting company. On a typical shift you will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience We offer ₹31,500 per month plus benefits.
