We are recruiting: stitching operator (State of Jammu and Kashmir)

Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Pulwama, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. We are looking for able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown; hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines; quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
