Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Kamjong, Manipur. Ideal candidate: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Your main tasks: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames 6+ years on the tools preferred.
