Day to day you will shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections. Ideal candidate: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
