What we are looking for: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Day-to-day duties: • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions Overtime paid at a premium rate.
