Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Tiruvannamalai, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is at a shipyard. Ideally you have physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards; full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment; proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold. Day to day you will inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips.
