Join our team: argon welding operator (Meghalaya)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Overtime paid at a premium rate.
