Canteen cook — Banas Kantha

Now hiring: we are hiring a canteen cook in Banas Kantha, State of Gujarat. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Your main tasks: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces Six days a week, one day off.
