Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Jharsuguda District, State of Odisha. You will be based on a building construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns You should bring know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio; able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day.
