You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On a typical shift you will set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
