We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Balangir, State of Odisha. The job is on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideally you have understanding of hand and radio signals; physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts; valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent).
