Furnace operator — Dhanbad

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Dhanbad, State of Jharkhand. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles 2+ years on the tools preferred.
