The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
