Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Dhemaji, Assam. You will work at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
