Gas metal arc welder • Tuensang District, State of Nagaland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Tuensang District, State of Nagaland. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₹13,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
