Metal caster wanted in Eluru

Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Eluru, State of Andhra Pradesh. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
