Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. ₹38,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
