Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Kaimur District, State of Bihar. You will work with a civil contractor. Ideally you have willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain; site safety induction or labour card an advantage. On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate 6+ years on the tools preferred.
