Banksman wanted in Bhavnagar

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Bhavnagar, State of Gujarat. You will be based at a shipyard. On the job you will handle: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should bring proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites; physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles.
