Die-casting operator — North West Delhi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in North West Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₹240 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
