Immediate opening: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Kishanganj, State of Bihar. The job is on a construction site. On a typical shift you will apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
