Ironing operator — Madurai

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Madurai, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Ideally you have comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment; aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep; 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory. The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
