We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Davanagere, State of Karnataka. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals On a typical shift you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger.
