You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics On a typical shift you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; run load and overload tests with test weights; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators.
