What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area.
