Now hiring: gas installation technician (State of Jharkhand)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Godda, State of Jharkhand. You will be based in a gas distribution network. You should bring physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders; 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations; driving licence for travel between sites. The role involves check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₹27,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms. Full-time with occasional weekends.
