Mechanical press operator — South Andaman

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in South Andaman, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. You will be based at an auto components factory. Day to day you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
