Now hiring: power press operator (State of Punjab)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Amritsar, State of Punjab. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. On a typical shift you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
