Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Charaideo, Assam. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should bring keen eye for casting defects during inspection; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry. You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Pay around ₹220 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
