Day to day you will fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor; carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts; solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier; log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay; top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low; keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station.
